I am your host, Tristan “Balthazar” Kamp, and you have stumbled upon a domain that is wholly my own. Here you can find relics of my past, musings of my future, and my forays into the realm of dreams and imagination.

For those curious few who remain, here you will find the smallest of glimpses written out for your pleasure or entertainment. Most of my days are currently (december 2025) spent wandering the endless labyrinth of the education system, as I am studying Mechanical Engineering at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Aside from that I'll give a glimpse into 2 major, and 2 minor hobbies of mine. the first major one is that I am avid gamer, happiest with a game that allows true problem solving or tactics to be used, while staying in motion. My second major hobby is ICT. I enjoy working with the digital realm, which has resulted in my own personal homelab, which this website is a part of, and a couple of other webapps that I enjoy greatly. My [Curriculum Vitae] should offer a better glimpse at my expertise in the realms connected to the internet. My first minor hobby is a a passion for writing, as you can probably read here. More of my works can be found within my escapades, as most of my true writing has gone into building and writing out the world that exists in a imagination all my own. The last but not least of my hobbies listed here is an interest in the playing the Hurdy Gurdy. An instrument that has risen from the ashes, to become my, and many others, fickle and irritable mistress. A beautiful droning sound, its sound can only be described as a coalition of pagpipes and an accordion, while on the its visuals are akin to a violin, piano and a wheel having had a child.
